Skills-based Volunteering Campaign

Volunteering often brings to mind serving in soup kitchens and cleaning up community gardens. Gap Foundation, working with Taproot Foundation, wanted to communicate to employees that another option is to get involved with organizations that need professional skills (skills like project management, marketing, sitting on a board, etc.). Since there were two discrete audiences with different demographics to consider—store employees and headquarter employees—we created two versions of the brochure. The store version is "scrappier" with important text highlighted with a handwritten underline and supplemental text handwritten in the margins. The headquarter version is slightly more grown up, relying on the copy and typography to draw people in. Interested in skills-based volunteering? Check out
