Training DVD Packaging
Working in a clothing retail store takes a lot more knowledge than one might expect. To help new hires get up and running quickly, Gap Outlet uses DVDs that are shown in the store's back rooms in short snippets of 10–20 minutes. But face it, video training can be tedious. So Gap Outlet hired Torqueim to script and film scenarios with a cast of somewhat wacky characters, each an expert in one aspect of a store's successful operation. In addition to the DVD packaging, I also designed the videos' titles, motion graphics and the DVD menus. There were also training manuals for the store managers that accompanied the DVD set.
